The New York Times reports that Hope Street Capital is bringing a new type of Dumbo condos to the booming neighborhood, now that 98 Front, the ODA-designed collection of 165 residences, is going up across the water from FiDi. With prices starting below $1 million, 98 Front offers residents luxurious accommodations well below the neighborhood’s average price without sacrificing design or comfort. When complete in spring next year, 98 Front will be LEED certified, thanks to its sustainable design elements like the use of insulated, sound-attenuated windows, which help keep energy costs low while keeping out neighborhood noise. Residents will have access to a suite luxury amenities, including a 7,000-square-foot rooftop terrace with an outdoor fitness area, screening facilities, and even a bocce court.
