This summer, the Movies with a View series at Brooklyn Bridge Park is celebrating its 20th anniversary with a slate of New York classics and deep cuts that are sure to make for memorable screenings. Every Thursday in July and August, Brooklynites (and other New Yorkers) flock to Pier 1’s Harbor View Lawn for a night of refreshments, Manhattan skyline views, and, of course, the silver screen. Showings in August begin with Spike Lee’s Crooklyn, followed by family favorite An American Tail, and then Civil Rights biopic Selma. The month will end with a film selected by a public vote. This series of screenings, and the park that is its home, are just a five-minute walk from 98 Front, the newest collection of DUMBO condos making a splash in the booming neighborhood. Thanks to the area’s waterfront parks, historic haunts, an exciting foodie scene, and a classic ambience that harkens back to New York’s iconic past, there’s never been a better time to check out these luxurious DUMBO homes.
